Sanwa
Build |
 |
This
isn't the exact bike I started with but it is identical. It was a Sanwa
ten speed circa 1980. |
|
 |
I
chopped off the seat post tube and cut off the rear seat stays. And
whah-la... Chopper frame. I will keep the bottom European bracket and
that's about it. |
 |
Stripped
for the powder coater. |
 |
I
found some cranks on eBay. Since I have decided to go with a rear 20"
wheel, I will need a crank arm that is pretty small. I got these "bulletproof"
cranks in 140mm size. I bought em for 29 bucks. I got the chain ring,
bolts and chain on eBay as well. The cranks seem to be perfect size.

 |
Back
from the powder coaters. New sissy bar, DK seat post clamp and new seat
post. |
 |
A
$1.13 worth of fabric and I now have a decent looking seat. |
 |
Almost
done. I bought some WCC wheels off of eBay. Some whitewalls from bicycledesigner.com
Used my old pedals off of my Electra. Forks and stem are on their way. |
