You're not alone.

I bought a bike for myself and my wife in the spring of 2005. I didn't want a mountain bike (we live in the midwest) and I am not the kind of guy that wants to wear tight shorts when I want to go fro a ride. In my youth (1983-85) I was heavily involved with BMX and before that me and the kids in my neighborhood were chopping up ten speed forks and jamming them on the ends of our Stingrays. Keep in mind this was before one could go to their local Wal Mart and buy a customized bike. But I digress, here I am 36yrs old looking for a bike. I discover the Electra Bicycle company. I buy a Straight 8 and a retro looking Giant for my wife. This is when I discovered this whole "underground" of adults with the same interest as me. I discovered, and still am, large companies to guys in their garages building the coolest bicycles I have ever seen.

That's what this site is all about. An online community for like minded people that geek on these chopped/stretched/twisted radical rides. Enjoy and please... contribute.
